Victoria – In Studio – Foundations of Voice-over

Begin your journey here! Voice-over work requires a very specific skill set. Our Foundations course was specifically designed for those new to the industry and looking to begin building their arsenal of skills. In this course, you will learn the essentials of voice-over, grow your experiences and build confidence on the mic. You will be introduced to the three main areas of voice-over: commercials, animation and narration. You’ll discover where your strengths and interests lie, receive personalized support and instruction from our faculty of voice-over professionals and gain a strong understanding of what the industry is all about.

If you are completely new to the world of voice-over, Foundations is the perfect class to get you familiarized with the industry and confident about your potential as a voice-actor.

• Become familiar with mic technique, studio etiquette and industry terminology

• Explore your vocal range, in terms of characters and age
