Online – Kids and Teens Animation Voice-over Camp

On The Mic Training’s Kids & Teens Animation Voice-over Camp is a week-long program, each day from 1:30 - 5 pm, that is designed for young performers aged 10-17 and covers animation voice-over skills that a young Voice-over performer would need to succeed in Voice-over sessions.

The week will cover Animation Prelay sessions, auditioning, and character improvisation techniques, and script breakdown technique.  In an extremely informative, but most importantly fun week, students will also learn industry expectations and are guided through many scripts and exercises to give them the tools they need to book the role and succeed in the recording session.

WHY THIS CLASS?

• Participate in, in studio exercises so students can better understand the audition process.

• Learn the process of how a script evolves from words on a page into the characters they see on their favourite cartoons or hear on their favourite commercials on television and the radio.  

• Perform scenes with multiple partners to get a feel for real world recording sessions.

• Learn the basics of matching voice to picture for anime and live action.

• Discuss the business opportunities available to kids and teens in the current voice-over industry, and what is expected from them at auditions and on the job.
