Description
The audiobook industry has exploded in recent years. Popular books are so often narrated for audio consumption, it is an exciting time to learn how this side of voice-over work is done.
Telling an unabridged story with all of the nuance of character and scene to sustain a book is no small task. Hooking the audience in for a 12-20 hour ride with multiple characters and accents is a unique talent that can be practiced and learned. What is most exciting is once you find your groove and hone your skills there is sustainable work out there waiting for your unique voice.
This class is delivered using our online web conferencing system. Just like in our in studio classes, students will prepare a copy for performance in front of the class and be given rounds of feedback and redirection. Students are expected to have a webcam and basic microphone so performance can be directed by the instructor.
This class is $25 more than other In Studio general classes because of the original booklet that students receive as part of the class. This booklet contains details information on building a career in Audiobook Narration.
