Brian Doe Chua has been fascinated by animated characters and their voices for as long as he can remember.
A devoted fan of Saturday morning cartoons while growing up in Canada, Brian Doe Chua’s passion for animated series led him to develop his craft at a young age by creating his own offbeat characters. The idea that he could use his voice to take people on auditory adventures led him to pursue professional acting full-time as a young adult and he’s never looked back.
Having trained at the likes of Canada’s National Voice Intensive in Toronto and powered his way through more than 100 voice acting credits in film, television, documentaries, video games, and commercials, Brian Doe Chua is a now an equally respected voice actor across all major mediums.
To genre fans, he’s perhaps best-known for lending his voice to the characters of Osamu Mikumo on World Trigger, Nils Richter on LBX: Little Battlers Experience, Delphin on Barbie: The Pearl Princess, Gabe Brunai on Beyblade Burst, and Timber Spruce on My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Legend of Everfree to name a few.
Not one to only be confined to the microphone, Brian Doe has also been developing a portfolio of live action work that includes the memorable FOX TV series Wayward Pines to go along with various web series and film roles shot in his current city of Vancouver.
When he’s not acting, Brian Doe Chua enjoys connecting with animation fans on social media and in person at conventions like BronyCAN. He also has a permanent addiction to guacamole and firmly believes that life is too short to wear matching socks.
As his zest for exploring characters and their stories only continues to grow, Brian Doe Chua’s multi-faceted vocal and physical performance abilities promise to keep him engaging eager audiences for many years to come.
