Heather Doerksen has been voicing in the booth for more than 15 years. One day her agent said “You’ve gotta do voice!” and yada yada yada here we are!
Heather has been nominated for a Leo Award in voice animation for her performance as Snowblazer in Netflix’s DINOTRUX, and is notably recognized for voicing Skylor the orange ninja in NINJAGO, as well as Princess Leia in LEGO STAR WARS, Hegan in Disney’s GIGANTOSAURUS, a handful of characters in the BARBIE franchise, and Kiyomi in DEATH NOTE. Heather has voiced 100’s of advertising campaigns, from Save On Foods to Telus to Oroweat Bread.
Heather received a BFA from SFU, where she did many a voice class, learning about the discipline and fun it takes to hone your voice, and what it takes to care for it through the possible strain of intense voice sessions.
