Julie Mallet-Paret is a voice actor, comedian, and teacher with a passion for compassion. They are originally from Edmonton, Alberta, having studied improv at Rapidfire Theatre and stand-up and sketch comedy at the Grindstone Theatre. Julie is proud to be a graduate of On The Mic Training’s full-time diploma program and brings an insider perspective to their role as Student Liaison and Safe Space Coordinator.
Prior to studying voiceover, Julie dabbled in a little bit of everything: teaching video game design summer camps, hosting events, mentoring LGBTQIA+ youth, promoting ethical data stewardship, performing drag, baking wedding cakes, and working as a facilitator and public servant. No matter the role, Julie is dedicated to bringing people together to learn, laugh, and grow as a community.
