Karl Willems

Karl Willems has been an animation voice director working primarily in Vancouver for over 20 years. He started out as a sound engineer and then was very soon not allowed to touch the buttons anymore. Instead, he was allowed to tell actors what to do. He has directed many pre-lay animation series over the years, several video games and countless episodes of ADR (dubbed) animation. During this time, he has worked extensively with most of the voice-over talent in the city. He has won both a Leo Award and an SPJA Award.
