Kurt Evans is a Canadian actor with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Kurt has worked professionally in video games, commercials, narration, Film and TV, and Theatre. Some of Kurt’s voice work includes EA, Honda, BCLC, Shomi, Recycle BC and numerous others. He has appeared in over 100 film and television roles over the years including recurring roles in iZOMBIE, THE MIDNIGHT CLUB, MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, SUPERNATURAL, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, ROGUE, LEVEL UP, SANCTUARY and EXE’S and OH’s and has been nominated for a LEO for Best Male Guest star twice for his work in MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE and TIES THAT BIND. Vancouver stage credit highlights include the Jesse Award winning show The Best Restaurant in the World… Ever and Burn This. Kurt has been an acting coach and teacher for over 20 years. Graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Education degree, Kurt has been teaching classes and coaching for the past 20 years. Sharing what he has learned over the years in the business with students, Kurt focuses his classes on the practical application and realization of the subtle demands of the craft and is thrilled to bring his knowledge and unique skill set to students everywhere.
In 2019, Kurt started Artist2Artist. This “digital actor showcase” gives an opportunity to emerging actors to get critical feedback on their work from industry professionals and connect with the casting communities of Canada. Over the last 4 years Artist2Artist has done showcases in Vancouver and Toronto with almost every major film and TV casting director in Canada with thousands of actors participating.
