Toronto based artist Lyon Smith got his start in animation voice work as a cast member in the original “Sailor Moon” dub. Since then he has been a mainstay in the Toronto voice community. Some career highlights are Talon in the “Inspector Gadget” reboot, Cory in “Grojband”, Luc in “Looped”, Ace in “DN Ace”, and the Adversity Twins in “The Ridonculous Race”. He is currently the voice of both Gilber and Spike in Dreamworks/Wildbrain’s Netflix hit “Go Dog Go”.

Why Voice-over?

It requires me to play and engage my imagination in a way that is so different from other forms of acting. I’m not bound by what I physically am but free to be and inhabit who or whatever the story requires.
