A graduate of the BFA program at the University of Calgary, Stacie is an acting instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience specializing in Voice for the Actor, Shakespeare and The Meisner Technique. Her teaching credits include: 20 years as a primary instructor at Company of Rogues Actors’ Studio, 10 years as a permanent guest instructor at the Central Memorial Performing Arts Program, an instructor and collaborator for the Centre for Newcomers, The Calgary Centre for Global Community and the Bold & Visible storytelling program. Stacie has taught Voice, Meisner, Theatre and Film workshops throughout Western Canada for numerous post secondary institutions, high schools, professional companies, corporations and studios.
Stacie is also an actor, director and producer. She was the founder and Artistic Director of Seraph Theatre and Shakespeare in the Valley in Cochrane, Alberta and is the co-founder of Any Road Productions, a female led production company. As a theatre artist Stacie has worked with companies including Theatre Calgary, Vertigo Theatre, The Shakespeare Company, Sage Theatre and Lunchbox Theatre. She can also be seen in multiple film and television roles and is the recipient of the first inaugural Stinger Award for Best Actress for her work in Faultline.
