Express Yourself Through Voice-over

Starlise Waschuk

Starlise has been teaching acting to kids, teens and adults in classrooms and privately for over ten years. She has a background as an actress, producer and acting coach residing between British Columbia and Alberta. She started teaching movement when she was a teenager at her local Karate Studio. She has always had a passion for movement whether it be dance, martial arts or sports. One of her mantra’s is that “acting is athletic” and that voice over requires this stamina as well.

Starlise is graduate of Red Deer College Theatre and Film Degree and is also a former student of the Canadian National Voice Intensive at University of British Columbia. Most recently, Starlise has become a Registered Rodenburg Associate training with Patsy Rodenburg herself. (Patsy Rodenburg is known for voice and presence work).

Happy to find a vocation that combines both her love of voice training and movement exploration, she very much looks forward to working with students at On The Mic.

She loves her career in the arts and continues to divide her time between teaching, learning and performing.
